A new browser-based application allowing a non-linear visualization of complex ideas, causes and effects and other relations

Its primary function is to visualize complex relations between multiple notions. This allows for in-depth analysis of all factors affected by or affecting a notion or an idea. The software displays all possible paths between any number of notions allowing the user to choose the most effective and logical route. Advanced analysis allows the user to anticipate future developments and to single out the causes of past issues.

Furthermore LinkNotions assists in the creation of complex studies, advanced research, problem solving.

As a secondary purpose, LinkNotions doubles as a helper for interactive organograms, sociograms, mind maps, family trees as well as an educational course and exercise planner and as a non-linear organizer.

The links are shown in two ways, by lines running horizontally and vertically in the corridors (this has the advantage that the lines do not flow through the notions) or by a simple trick: clicking on a notion and all notions related to it are highlighted by colors.

Squares containing a notion are placed over fixed empty squares (always a well-arranged presentation).

Each notion and each relation can be explained and complemented with documents.

Each notion, idea or concept is displayed in its own box.

By clicking the upper half of a box, all the incoming links (causes) of this notion will light up.

By clicking the lower half, the outgoing links (consequences) will light up.

Colors can be selected based on needs and preference.

Any type of information or file can be attached to any box or to any link connecting two boxes.

Each diagram can simultaniously be produced in multiple languages.

As it is non-linear, LinkNotions allows a much more complex and in-depth analysis of fields of knowledge than other programs (mind maps). It permits the connection of indirect links.

The chessboard-like numeration system helps to quickly locate notions and links within vast diagrams.

The design of the application is uncluttered and open allowing for an organized workspace.

Possibilty of sending diagrams to non-registered people. You choose whether the recepiant can only view or modify it.
